Meet the team behind Bad Trevor
Mark Hurdle - Creator
Mark has worked in video production for 20+ years. As a writer/director he's worked with some of the biggest brands and entertainers, like L'Oréal, Ed Sheeran, Diversity and Sir Tom Jones.
The idea for Bad Trevor popped into Mark's head while playing cards with his young niece and nephew. He was inspired by the card games he loved as a teenager, like Sh**head and Chase The Ace, which combine luck, skill, tactics and bluffing. With those elements in mind, Mark created his own unique game, stirring in a healthy dollop of humour.
Two years later, he was delighted when his niece and nephew said yes to starring in the game’s Kickstarter promo videos.
Bad Trevor is the first game he’s ever made.
Steve Penfold - Illustrator
Steve is founder and creative director of Beyond The Bunker comics. He’s illustrated and published a host of quirky, edgy comic book series, including the iconic Moon.
Steve and Mark met at university, where they both studied television and video production. They were Facebook friends but hadn’t spoken for 18 years when Mark got in touch about illustrating Bad Trevor.
